In tune with the extensive experience of Giorgetti in woodworking, the company has a desire to give back to the environment a part of the heritage of materials that for over 124 years has been the resource for the production of furniture and décor complements.

“Giorgetti Group has always had a close bond of gratitude and awareness in relation to trees,” says Giovanni del Vecchio, CEO of the company. “We have decided to make a major investment in this area, above all as a gesture of restitution which we consider a sacred obligation: the planting of trees that will become forests in our territory. Because there is no more powerful tool of growth and development for a company than its true sense of belonging to its own territory.”

To reconnect with one’s location, with the values of the cabinetmaking tradition combined with technological progress, and with the people who have contributed to the brand’s expansion, taking it to exceptional levels of excellence: this is a gesture undertaken by Giorgetti in relation to the Sustainable Development Goals 2030 outlined by the United Nations.

To plant a tree is a sign of responsibility and gratitude in relation to nature, the generous creator of raw materials. It also represents a concrete action to combat climate change. The #ReForest urban forestation project began on 1 October with the start of the planting of trees and shrubs in the woods of the Meda area, the location of the company’s headquarters. The initiative, implemented in collaboration with Rete Clima, the non-profit organization that encourages actions of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and sustainable business practices, confirms Giorgetti’s commitment to the pathway of sustainability; in a perspective of continuous improvement, the brand has already put in place a program of constant monitoring of corporate activities of greatest impact, with the aim of reducing the repercussions of its work on the environment, also through careful selection of suppliers.
