Not even two months after the presentation of the new Pardo GT52 galley-down layout, the shipyard in Forlì has launched the second, galley-up layout version. The new Pardo GT52 motor yacht, halfway between the Walkaround and Endurance models, now becomes even more seductive in the gray color that enhances the inimitable lines of the hull and the design of the inverted bow typical of the Pardo Yachts family.

With interiors conceived by Nauta Design, the dual layout option for the internal spaces displays all the flexibility and spatial excellence. The galley-up layout offers a large relaxation zone with a television, or a third cabin with bunk beds at the level of the lower deck. The galley-down layout features a very large dinette lounge on the main deck, and a super-accessorized galley below, also for comfortable use outside of the summer months.

Developed for yachtsmen in search of more livable and comfortable volumes without sacrificing performance, the 52-foot vessel by Pardo Yacht combines the habitat excellence typical of a luxury apartment with exceptional seagoing prowess. The internal volume has been completely revised in terms of redistribution of weights and center of gravity, with Volvo Penta IPS motors positioned towards the stern (2×650 in the standard version, or 2×700/800 as an optional solution). Furthermore, the machine room is already prepared to welcome the upgrade to Volvo hybrid motors, to reduce environmental impact on the sea.

The hydrodynamic design has also been reformulated, taking into account the greater weight of the cabin level – much larger now – and the closed superstructure, as well as the internal furnishings. This has made it possible to proceed to a complete reorganization of the spaces, which become decidedly more livable.

Starting with the owner’s cabin, now boosted in size and rotated, with the headboard towards the side to ensure better circulation inside the cabin, connected to a large bathroom with a shower cabin towards the bow. This cabin is joined by the VIP cabin with bathroom and the lodgings for the crew.

Massimo Gino of Nauta Design comments: “The Pardo GT52 represents a crossover between a Walkaround and a classic cabin cruiser. The saloon on the main deck is protected by the superstructure and can be completely opened towards the stern; the door of the saloon and the two aft windows make it possible to put the living area into direct connection with the large, functional cockpit, or to separate the saloon from the outside, creating a climate controlled internal zone.”

“The top includes a large sliding canopy to provide optimal aeration. The lateral gunwales go up to the level of the bridge to obtain a large flush relaxation zone at the prow, with an ample sundeck at the center of the deckhouse. Thanks to the flush deck solution, it is possible to obtain larger volumes for the interiors at the prow: the owner’s zone benefits enormously, offering the type of comfort seldom seen on yachts of this size.”
