WALL&DECÒ with CART&DITION | Walls tell a story
What if wallpaper was an artist’s project? It is from this idea of curator Giovanna Felluga, who involved a selection of internationally renowned artists – Fabrice Hyber, the LABINAC collective, Liliana Moro, Riccardo Previdi, Francesco Simeti, Donatella Spaziani and Patrick Tuttofuoco – that a research project was born, with the intention of investigating the relationship between contemporary art and wallcovering. And it does so through a collection of artist’s projects on wallpapers of high cultural value. Part of the Wall&decò Editions line, CART&dition is a collection intended to expand from year to year, “unlimited” but numbered. The designs are not patterns but full-width images offered in large format – 5.40 x 3.60 meters – for an immersive effect of great scenic impact. And authorial.
GLAMORA | The great beauty
Divina Collection is a new wallcovering collection that offers scenery inspired by the monumental yet rarefied elegance of Art Deco. Declined in 14 subjects, often on staggered planes for a greater effect of visual depth, is the support on which it is made: GlamSatin, a material specially developed by the company with a particular luster, reminiscent of the glow of silk. A decorative language designed for interiors of many types: classic or contemporary, living, business or hospitality spaces. Gleams of gold, brass and platinum illuminate a soft palette made of the neutral tones of taupe, gray, powder and clay and draw an abstract, idealized nature in motifs that can be made to measure and customized with maximum creative flexibility.
FENIX | Tactile surfaces
X-KIN has been created specifically to cover walls and structural elements (pillars, columns) in interior design, applied in the same way as wallpaper. A flexible surface developed to create deep, relaxing and original perspectives. Since they are extremely opaque, incredibly soft, fingerprint-proof and do not fade when exposed to light, these materials are ideal for refined, charming spaces with a timeless style. The chromatic options allow you to play with colors and to combine them in a harmonious way with other Fenix materials. The coverings come on rolls of 1.3 meters by 10.05. Starting in June 2022, they will be sold exclusively online at the website fenixforinteriors.shop.
ITLAS | In a striped outfit
The idea is always the same, to bring nature into the most intimate space of the home: the bathroom, where until recently wood was seen as a bit of a taboo. Things are finally changing and that natural material – for many, the enemy of water – is now being used to build even bathtubs and sinks. Merit also goes to the Progetto Bagno, a project that Itlas launched in 2015 which this year is enriched by the Le Righe Fineline collection, a three-dimensional boiserie that can be laid both vertically and horizontally, generating particular optical effects. Declined in the two versions, Le Righe and Le Righe Fineline, the boiserie can also be realised following the Ecos (Sustainable Circular Economy) method, which Itlas is implementing to minimise processing waste. In fact, the project aims to revalue raw material, giving new life to parts of material that would otherwise be lost and generate waste.
SELETTI & CERAMICA BARDELLI | Irrationality as a rule
“Seletti 4 Ceramica Bardelli”: a collaboration between two Italian companies to liven up the world of surfaces in the home and in professional spaces. From the impossible geometries of Escher (the Distortion line) to texture-effect mosaics also covering rounded walls like fabric (Black&White line); from the shiny reflecting diamond surfaces with a retro flavor (Diamond line) to a dreamy stroll on a carpet of clouds, all the way to a virtual plunge into crystal-clear water (Elements Nuvole and Acqua), all the versions of the Tiles (R)evolution capsule collection offer a hyper-creative sensory journey.
