Created as a lounge chair for interiors, Grapy – produced by GAN – now explores the world outdoors thanks to new fabrics, prints and finishes. Kensaku Oshiro has drawn inspiration from the image of a farmer seated on a burlap bag, leading to a chair that naturally adapts to the lines and movements of the body. The designer has added two new removable geometric fabrics, in three colors: blue, yellow and orange.
The first is Marquetry, with Art Deco graphics and water repellent, stainproof properties. The second is Vichy, with Meltemi Texture waterproof and breathing fabric, again resistant to staining. Grapy is thus transformed into a lounge chair for enjoying the fresh air on terraces, in gardens, porticos and any type of outdoor space.
