IC Festival, Brooklyn shows off

The destination is Industry City, for exhibitions, conferences and public art

The impressive creative campus in Brooklyn celebrates the design week with open studios, talks, outdoor screenings in collaboration with ADFF, exhibitions and events, including a special pop-up in the IC Store by WantedDesign, with two works by the Mexican artists Daniel Barreto and Alejandra García Gutiérrez.

Design Transforms Borders organized by Central Saint Martins invites guests to a workshop on ceramics and talks about social justice, guided by the specialists of the London-based school, University of the Arts London and the humanitarian organizations Touching Land and Territorial Empathy.

IC Locals: Tools! curated by Adrian Madlener is an exhibition on creatives and companies based in Industry City, including Jane D’Haene, Roll & Hill, Ophelia + Indigo, Sharon Radisch.

ZZ Driggs presents iconic contemporary and vintage design works, while on 14 May the Cooper Hewitt Museum is in the spotlight with a series of workshops for families and round table discussions. In a voyage between art and design, the platform Collision Project invites visitors to explore the inside of the campus and to take part in experiences of public art and interactive digital installations.
