In the headquarters of the Porcelanosa group at Vila-Real (slightly north of Valencia), part of the corporate showroom has been set aside for Fitwall, a new product made by starting with an exclusive material developed by Krion of Porcelanosa Grupo, particularly suited to the creation of panels for installation on the wall or the ceiling.

For this space – the “Koncept Fashion Store” – José Manuel Ferrero of estudiHac has been asked to invent an environment based on very few colors, where the décor and rhythm are created by the game of surfaces and textures, all those included in the catalogue.

Ferrero has decided to use pale gray for all the surfaces, precisely to underscore the three-dimensional differences, enhanced by the lighting. The subdivision of the space into separate rooms by means of arches also permits visual juxtaposition of various textures, lightly accented by lively yellow, as in the Magnum chair produced by Sancal (the lamp is the Spokes model by Foscarini).

The Fitwall decorative panels are formed by minerals, modified acrylic resins and recycled PET. They feature a mixture of technology and craftsmanship, guaranteeing that the individual pieces will correspond precisely to the original mold, reproduced down to the smallest details (the material lends itself to countless processes: ageing, sandblasting, washing of the material, and many others).
