In outdoor settings, people eat, play, rest, alone or with others. Gandiablasco, which has made outdoor living an experience for all seasons and all tastes, thinks about new functions for open-air situations, in line with new everyday habits. Hence the idea of make the terrace into a workspace.

The outdoor office will be the theme of the annual contest organized by Gandiablasco for young designers from 18 to 35, to discover novel design approaches and to encourage new creative talents.

The rules are few, with respect to the unbridled imagination called into play: projects have to be original and industrially feasible, while avoiding the use of plastics that are not 100% recyclable. The submissions can be made individually or in groups, with the deadline 19 July 2022, at this link.

Now at its 15th iteration, the contest has always been a remarkable success: the last one, in 2020, on the subject of outdoor lighting, welcomed over 192 participants from 12 different countries.
