The blue sea of Porto Montenegro, the main marina for superyachts on the beautiful Bay of Kotor in the Adriatic, must have been the inspiration for Italamp, called in to produce two site-specific installations for the exclusive Elena Residences.

Inside the project by Manor Interior Design and Articons architects, these custom compositions light up and decorate the entrance spaces, forming a cascade with a length of 19 meters made of floating elements.

The impression is that their biomorphic structure is mostly made of water, precisely like jellyfish. Actually it is made of borosilicate glass, in an elegant alternation of transparency and gray-blue metallized finish, forming the delicate body.

Fascinating and hypnotic, hundreds of little objects, each perforated, strung and blocked on the metal wire of the structure, contain LED light sources of the latest generation, creating effects of light and reflections resembling the play of sunlight on the surface of the water. The effect, walking through the space at particular angles, is that of being immersed in the calm depths of the sea.
