The first edition of “Giorgetti Walks With Art,” a project concept dedicated to the art of Atelier Giorgetti in collaboration with the gallery Oblong Contemporary Art of Dubai and Forte dei Marmi, during Milano Art Week 2022, was an opportunity to present the first two new items in the 2022 collection: the Borealis screen designed by Roberto Lazzeroni and the Montgomery seating series created by Dainelli Studio.

Borealis is a screen for the living area and bedroom zone, perfect for both classic and contemporary atmospheres. Composed of three rotating panels in aluminium with a pewter finish, the item stands out for its seductive game of woven leather strips, suggesting the image of the aurora borealis (hence the name). Each strip is formed by two bonded layers of leather in two different colors. Available in two heights: 125 and 170 cm.

The Montgomery seating, in two armchair versions, interprets classic forms with contemporary flair. The structure in solid ash features curves and complex interlocks, based on the cabinetmaking skills developed by the company over 124 years of history.

Montgomery is understated but also sinuous: the seat and back cushions are in variable-density polyurethane foam. But the most surprising, precious detail is that of the armrests covered in leather in the central part, soft to the touch but not shaped by padding, inserted in a hollow created in the solid ash wood.
