A tribute to the space between connections, the relationship between form and matter. Sequence is the new modular carpet designed by Apparatus, an interdisciplinary studio based in New York, in collaboration with cc-tapis, the company founded by the couple Nelcya Chamszadeh and Fabrizio Cantoni.

A sequence of modular shapes held together with brass connectors to emphasize the gaps between the various parts, not unlike the silhouettes cherished by the French fashion designer Pierre Cardin.

A carpet where for the first time materials soft to the touch, like pure Vietnamese silk tufted by hand in Thailand and New Zealand wool, meet rigid, metallic surfaces.

The result is an unusual décor complement, a protagonist in any space, to interpret, organize and personalize with freedom of choice, thanks to the interchangeable modules.
