Enjoyment of the outdoors spaces of the Jardín Sol Suites of the Iberostar chain is a totally harmonious experience, set into the rock and surrounded by the sea and the pine groves. A true hideaway for relaxation, inserted in the Costa de la Calma, at Palma de Mallorca, recently restored by the studio Abanda Home & Contract Design, giving rise to heavenly outdoor settings with the help of the collections offered by Gandia Blasco.
Their architectural language matches the atmosphere of Mediterranean warmth – dominated by tones of white and sand – and makes a decisive contribution to this high-performance open-air project, in both aesthetic and technical terms. The Daybed series of canopy beds designed by José A. Gandía-Blasco Canales creates small oases of comfort and shelter. Formed by a structure in heat-coated aluminium that stands up to dampness and rust, these cots provide comfort thanks to the reclining backs and the various types of adjustable canopies that screen the sunlight.
Nomadic items include the C tables of the FLAT series, designed by Mario Ruiz, which create configurations and settings that constantly change, depending on the time of day and the movements of the guests, as a valid auxiliary – with their structure in sand-color heat-coated aluminium – for the upholstered pieces covered in technical fabric, in the same shade.
The swimming pools are surrounded by the 356 chaises longues by Pablo Girones and José A. Gandía-Blasco Canales, provided by Diabla, the youngest brand of the group. Resembling a hammock due to their sinuous forms, in contrast with the straight lines of the rest of the elements, 356 almost enters the water, made in 100% recyclable polyethylene using a rotomolding technique. Another successful project by Gandia Blasco, for this hospitality structure in the Baleraric Islands, to celebrate the group’s 80th anniversary.
