In the world of Porcelanosa

Just one exclusive space in Milan, to narrate the design universe of the group

Strolling through the 600 sqm of the showroom, you come across the sculptural kitchens of Gamadecor as well as many bath furnishing offerings; you walk through a variegated survey of facings and floors, in ceramic or wood, with the Porcelanosa trademark; you can get lost amidst the innovative solutions of Krion Unlimited Surfaces and the wide range of Krion Porcelanosa Baths with its lines of equipment for the bathroom; and you can also touch the natural quality of the Altissima series.

The new Porcelanosa showroom in Milan is a concentrate (heterogeneous but with a sense of unity) of what the group has to offer.
Already from the outside, the space catches the eye with its sequence of windows facing Piazza Castello. Crossing the threshold, you are catapulted into a universe of materials, in the widest range of expressions.

The luminous space in natural hues, or with dark and pale contrasts, allows the surfaces and the furnishings to fill the display without invading it, attracting attention without allowing one element to prevail over another. The result is a natural, fluid pathway – organized on two levels – through completely coordinated settings.

The sole exception is the greater emphasis placed on Coverlux™, a new mineral-based material that takes its cue from natural stone, belonging to the Krion® family. This product combines high performance with the possibility of backlighting: it is therefore ideal for retail and hospitality contexts. Inside the store in Milan, it has been used to form a counter where light triggers striking effects on the surface.

Professionals, architects and designers are the target group for this exclusive location which the company approaches as a complete experience of interior design, not just due to the range of solutions on view (amplified by an internal materials library), but also for the accent on personalized consulting and assistance.
Hence the presentation of different solutions utilizing XTone by Urbatek – large-format porcelain stoneware made with natural minerals, for a thickness of 6 mm – which is ideal for designers thanks to its “bespoke” character, suggesting applications on surfaces, furnishings or even façades.
