Certainly the hybridization between workplaces and domestic spaces has sped up remarkably in recent times. The “office” dimension has entered the home with its technical devices and extreme focus on function. At the same time, a warmer residential atmosphere has invaded the most austere workspaces. An overlapping of levels that Mara has been able to interpret, in the new “Ufficio 4.0” concept: a project whose new finishes and new ad campaign narrate the evolution of the company, revealing a kaleidoscopic world of hues and solutions, ready to enhance contexts with different needs.
A “Technicolor” revolution, we might say, where technical design has reached unprecedented applications, to combine principles of productivity and wellbeing, collaboration and creativity in the new collections, for renewal in everyday workspaces; all together with a new chromatic palette of delicate shadings and pastel tones, in tune with a more enveloping, empathic aesthetic, while encouraging versatile use of various products.
The “Office 4.0” of Mara thus represents a flexible universe of multicolored multitasking: values interpreted by the company to necessarily accompany the evolution of workspaces and new habits, balanced between home and office.
This is the line of reasoning behind the company’s latest creation, Follow Me, a new multitasking, space-saving and height-adjustable table developed for intuitive, dynamic sit-stand use. There are many factors that make this an innovative product: endowed with the “no-gravity” system patented by Mara, it requires no electrical wiring or gas mechanisms. The table can be placed anywhere in a room: the fold-back top and practical wheels make it easy to move, and when the unit is closed it can also be stored in tight spaces. The two versions – small and large – can be enhanced with a wide range of finishes.
