The Campiture collection by Amini Carpets follows rules based on beauty and harmony, which Elisa Ossino finds thanks to her innate intuition and awareness of the deeper spiritual qualities of geometry. References to modernist aesthetics abound in these rugs, highlighting geometric motifs that alternate refined tones like light mint with brown, warm taupe with dark night, as well as vivid shades of bright orange and pop blue. “The starting point is geometry, as often happens in my projects, parallel to my ongoing research on abstraction in the creation of almost pictorial objects, which seek equilibrium and formal perfection while expressing emotional states,” the designer says. In the rugs by Amini Carpets nothing is taken for granted. The forms, figures and color ranges are simple, but when skillfully combined they can become a primary formula of beauty and movement.
