At its 30th iteration, the Monaco Yacht Show continues to stand out for the high quality of its offerings and a social whirl that enlivens the Principality. From 22 to 25 September, the event has been restyled to meet commercial and marketing challenges with a focus on superyachts and their owners, in a context of exceptional prestige.
A new badge system divided into three categories in the strategic planning of Informa, the group behind the show, permits an augmented flow of visitors, enabling private viewers to board the boats.
The new Dockside Area devoted to the ‘players’ directly connected with the construction and management of superyachts and tenders, will be reserved on the day of Wednesday 22 September to private final customers, after which the exhibits can be visited by all.
The premium services have also been improved, with an official program of VIP visits covering the show as well as the city – the Sapphire Experience – while the evocative Porto Hercule hosts theme exhibitions as well as an impressive international fleet, available for purchase or rental.
Giving visitors a chance to meet the right contacts is one of the main objectives of MYS. The Yacht Design & Innovation Hub is a new space for the presentation of yacht design projects, where the new generation of clients can interact directly with designers, to envision full personalization and custom styling.
The Captains & Crew Lounge, set aside for skippers and staff of the yachts on view, offers a variegated program of activities. Other new initiatives include sections on innovative projects and trends in sailing.
Among the ‘gems’ on view not to be missed, the Viva megayacht is one of the worldwide previews eagerly awaited at the Monaco Yacht Show 2021: the team of the Dutch shipyard Feadship presents all the key phases of the construction of this impressive 94-meter luxury yacht, scheduled for delivery to its owner this year.
