What to see in Brera Design District

Meeting and greeting in the center of Milan, in the design district par excellence. From 4 to 10 September, events and installations on the theme “Forms of Living”

The Brera Design District comes back to life, with a constellation of spaces where design takes on great creative force. With over 90 events programmed, 130 exhibitors and 140 showrooms – including 15 new openings in 2021 – the event organized and curated by Studiolabo offers exhibitions, installations and talks.

The theme of this edition that begins on Saturday 4 September (until Friday the 10th) will be “Forms of Living”: a reflection on new habitat needs, as a direct consequence of the pandemic. Many companies take part in this immersive pathway through the city, with an accent on design renewal seen in new proposals. Visitors can discover new products directly in the Brera district: here are some initiatives not to be missed!

“Natural Capital” is the name of the project created by CRA-Carlo Ratti Associati for ENI: a three-dimensional visualization inside the Orto Botanico di Brera. The installation sets out to become one of the largest data visualizations ever made, demonstrating ENI’s commitment in the area of forest conservation and protection. The aim is to attribute value to the role of plants and trees in the production of oxygen, demonstrating the quantity of CO2 the various species are capable of capturing and accumulating.
