After Milan, Lucerne. Lapalma expands its network by opening a new space at 9 Bürgenstrasse, dedicated to the world of design. Lapalma for Architects Lucerne, precisely like the hub recently opened in the Lombardy capital, meets the company’s need to set aside time and space for architects and interior designers who want to personalize their projects with furnishings by Lapalma: an atelier with an area of 130 sqm, inside a private apartment, to bring together the various worlds of Lapalma (Light Office, Café, Lounge & Home) and the systems created to inhabit them (from ADD designed by Francesco Rota to the brand’s icons, including the LEM stool by Shin & Tomoko Azumi and the Kipu pouf by Anderssen&Voll).
“We have a great interest in the Swiss market,” says Romano Marcato, founder and owner of Lapalma together with his brother Dario. “We therefore felt it would be useful to focus on a space here that allows exploration of the design opportunities offered by our systems and our furniture, especially at a time like this when trade fairs have been suspended and travelling abroad is more complicated.”
