Gandia Blasco Group, the Valencia-based company containing the brands Gandiablasco, Gan and Diabla in its portfolio, celebrates its 80th anniversary, a historic milestone reached through constant evolution, diversification and commitment to outstanding design at multiple levels.
The second generation of the family guided by José A. Gandía-Blasco Canales (president and creative director of the group) pays homage to this success by opening a new flagship store in Madrid, to join Casa Gandia Blasco in Ontinyent (Valencia), the exclusive location that presents the creative universe and typically Mediterranean style of the three brands.
The new space – at the corner of 28 Calle Ortega y Gasset – has an area of 300 sqm, designed in collaboration with MUT Design, the Spanish firm that has also created the brand corner of Gandiablasco. In this setting of metropolitan architecture in industrial style, to focus is on the company’s outdoor creations, featuring lively colors, fine materials and enveloping, comfortable design.
There are many outdoor furnishing collections by Gandiablasco, such as Onde by Luca Nichetto, Buit by Mayice Studio, Bosc by Made Studio.
The colorful and eclectic textures of the GAN carpets decorate the horizontal and vertical surfaces, like hypnotic canvases, starting with Bandas, Garden Layers, Nuances and Mirage, all by Patricia Urquiola, all the way to Ply by MUT Design, Backstitch by Raw Edges or Canevas by Charlotte Lancelot.
Diabla, the youngest brand in the group, enhances the space with playful proposals for all seasons: Grill by MUT Design, Arp by Made Studio, Lilly by Democràcia Studio and Plisy Up by Alejandra Gandía-Blasco.
