Design Holding acquires Ydesign e-commerce

The group has come to an agreement with the American platform specialized in online sales of lighting and furniture

Design Holding, the international group operating on the global premium design market, containing companies like B&B Italia, Flos and Louis Poulsen, through a fully controlled and newly formulated company, has acquired YDesign, an e-commerce operation for lighting and furnishings, with headquarters in Walnut Creek, California.

With 200,000 active clients and sales of over 160 million dollars per year, YDesign operates through two websites, and, and distributes brands like Artemide, Foscarini, Kartell, Muuto, Nemo, Tom Dixon, as well as Flos and Louis Poulsen.

The acquisition is part of the strategy of Design Holding calling for expansion into different markets, especially that of North America, to reinforce digital presence and provide more services for both private clients and architects-designers.
