With Once upon a plate, Lorenzo Petrantoni decorates the White Snow collection designed by Antonia Astori in 1996 for Driade. An artist, illustrator and art director, versatile and surprising, Lorenzo Petrantoni, featured at least once on the covers of leading magazines (New York Times, Newsweek, Vogue, Style Magazine, GQ, Vanity Fair), has shown his work in the world’s most important contemporary art galleries. His inspiration for this collection, as for other works, comes from 19th-century etchings and graphics, reassembled like the tiles of a mosaic to give rise to splendid collages with a retro image.
