Microcosms in which to find seclusion, created to bring relaxation, to connect with beauty and nature. The outdoor furnishings by Ethimo decorate open-air spaces in a quiet, reserved way, through a balanced mix of design and functional quality, which in some cases manages to trigger new forms of social contact and wellbeing.
The new Ethimo outdoor expressions
The unusual Hut designed by Marco Lavit, for example, is a shell that speaks of regeneration, thanks to an architectural structure formed by wooden staves (Accoya®), similar in form to a tepee, combined with inserts and details in metal. An elegant, sheltering structure that allows air to pass, embracing a soft padded circular seat, also with an opening at the top to observe the sky when lying down. Hut can also be flexible, adapting to needs of privacy and rest: it can be moved and adjusted, without being fastened to the ground. The unit comes in a height of 320cm and a diameter of 300cm, and can be personalized with cushions and a curtain that allows users to close the ‘nest’ for protection against direct sunlight.

Kilt by Ethimo, Design Marcello Ziliani
The lounge and dining collection designed by Marcello Ziliani, Kilt, also creates a new dimension of comfort, transmitting sensations of warmth. Thanks to the new tones of the natural rope combined with the distinctive FSC certified teak frame. Two hues are added to the traditional colors Sand and Dark Grey: the dense weave in Olive Green and Ruby Wine are inspired by the warm shades of Mediterranean vegetation; vivid colors able to expand the positive moods and good vibes that feature the whole Kilt collection, now including a new “love seat”, a sofa for two in compact proportions.
From product to project
The natural hues of Kilt, together with its extreme comfort, have also appealed to the luxurious Amara Hotel in Cyprus, which has chosen them to enhance the outdoor spaces of the main bars and restaurants, together with the Nicolette collection designed by Patrick Norguet, and the Carrè floor lamps to light up the porticos connecting the various spaces. Special pieces, capable of combining style, nature and design in a perfect balance with the architecture of the site.
The same is true – this time with the warm hues of Mediterranean vegetation – of the iconic Knit and Swing lounge and dining collections, created by Patrick Norguet, and the eclectic Enjoy dining tables, protagonists on the panoramic terrace of the restaurant and several terraces of the exclusive suites inside Kivotos Hotels & Villas in Santorini. These collections reveal Ethimo’s focus on the evolution of contemporary outdoor living trends.
