Innovation must always deal not only with resources but also with time, in the sense that when the idea is there, one cannot wait too long to turn it into reality. And Axolight has taken advantage of this relatively slow year to accelerate industrialization and – step by step – reach the finish line with a remarkable final result: 6 of the historic and successful collections of the Scorzè-based company are now available with the U-Light panel.
U-Light, designed by Timo Ripatti, is the result of teamwork: the Axolight Laboratories, the Italian School of Design (SID), and the MaTech, the Italian centre of excellence in the study of innovative materials. U-Light is a panel capable of neutralizing high and medium acoustic frequencies, those typical of very busy environments: restaurants, hotel offices, conference centres, airports. And the residential spaces where many people work and study today. All without sacrificing form, design.
As the CEO Giuseppe Scaturro said, ‘Axolight always chooses paths linked to technical and stylistic innovation without sacrificing design. We believe in the concept of synthesis, even more so today, with spaces being increasingly hybrid.’
The Bell, Layers, Ukiyo, Velvet, Plumage, and Skirt collections are now available to the private user and the world of design with the possible integration of the U-Light panel.
The arrival of lighting into the world of acoustic comfort opens the door to other possible fusions with parallel product categories that may have never interacted, until now.
