The Patti and Dee Dee upholstered furnishings created by Castello Lagravinese Studio are the embodiment of this contemporary way of living.
In the Patti model the revolutionary structure in solid canaletto walnut has been obtained through the precise grafting of 18 parts, forming absolutely perfect curves and roundness. Each individual part has been designed with 3D software, honed to the millimeter to precisely match with the others, and shaped by a special 5-axis machine, with total hand finishing prior to the assembly phase. Every piece follows the grain of the wood, matching in every joint, to bring out the value and prestige of the material, which can be seen in all its purity.
The back is made with natural woven Vienna straw, making reference to the convivial atmosphere of 19th-century cafés with an elegant contrasting effect. The seat is padded and covered in leather or fabric, generating a whole that responds to needs of comfort and image in the living area and the bedroom.
Style and functional quality are also the earmarks of Dee Dee, a sofa carefully designed and finished down to the smallest details, even in the less visible portions such as the back, which features discreetly wide ribbed workmanship. This strategy makes it perfect for use at the center of a room. The modular sofa has a terminal portion that can accommodate from 2 to 5 seats, combined with a meridienne with backs.
The comfort of Dee Dee – enveloping, original and welcoming – comes precisely from its high-tech workmanship and its materials: variable-density polyurethane foam and very soft goosedown. The feet, with a height of 15 cm, come in steel with an embossed powder-coated finish, combined with (completely removable) fabric covering, or covered in leather (not removable).
