Rosetti Superyachts thinks (and makes) big

The group expands its shipyard with new spaces for the construction of superyachts with lengths of over 100 meters

It takes big spaces to build big ideas. Therefore Rosetti Superyachts has submitted a project and obtained the approval of the local authorities to expand its shipyard in Ravenna, including new zones for the construction of superyachts over 100 meters in length.

The project covers the creation of a new facility equipped for the construction of large yachts, beside another building utilized for various phases of the outfitting: the woodworking area on the first floor, the showroom on the second level to contain the mock-ups, offices reserved for the yachtsman and his team on the third floor, directly overlooking the San Vitale production site with an overall area of 70,000 square meters. The careenage basic is 180 meters long and 27 meters wide, with direct access to the Adriatic Sea.

“Rosetti Superyachts is about to make another important investment, which will reinforce the brand’s position as a reference point in the construction of ‘explorer-style’ yachts in steel and aluminium, from 35 meters upward,” says Ermanno Bellettini, CEO of RSY. “To be able to grow we needed more production space, to allow us to make bigger yachts than in the past. This investment reflects the strategic vision of the entire Gruppo Rosetti Marino and our commitment to expand the range of our offerings.”

Founded in 2017, Rosetti Superyachts has concentrated on the market of expedition yachts and supply vessels. The plant and the auxiliary building complete the already existing facilities, where the 38m Explorer designed by Hydro Tec is presently under construction, slated for delivery in 2021.
