Faraway lands, exotic landscapes, imaginary spaces of wild, authentic vegetation: all these sensations are emanated by Rafael, the system of outdoor furnishing components created by Paola Navone. In this collection composed of lounge chairs, daybeds and coffee tables, the designer has formulated extraordinary sensations of wellbeing through expressive forms and choices of materials, generating new outdoor living experiences.

The fine workmanship of the teak, marble and volcanic stone is enhanced by the chromatic range of the fabrics, also designed by Paola Navone, who describes the collection as follows: “A family of seats for every moment of the day, for morning coffee, a siesta in the shade, a gin & tonic at sundown. Rafael is sturdy, comfortable and unique. Its deconstructed form is a bit tribal.”

The design is in fact original and distinctive: hexagonal profiles for the structure and a new scratched finish for the natural teak combine with backs formed by asymmetrical staves, joined by special metal ‘braces’ in order to contain a soft ‘alcove’ of cushions with refined patterns and intense colors.

Playful and geometric, the tables combine the nobility of wood and the material impact of the tops in statuary marble or enameled volcanic stone.
