From 14 to 17 September, Paris hosts Paris Real Estate Week, a rendezvous for real estate experts, investors, brokers, developers, architecture studios, construction companies, start-ups, but also for those making their first approach to this sector.
Encounters, conferences and debates have been organized around three main events: Propel by MIPIM, 14-15 September, the lead event of the initiative organized at Le Cent Quatre, for two days concentrating on innovation, with international decision makers working in the fields of property, technology and public governance; the MIPIM Urban Forum, a day of conferences and debates scheduled for 16 September at La Seine Musicale, on the theme of ‘embracing change,’ the city and the urban context; and the MIPIM Awards Ceremony, on 15 September at the InterContinental Paris Le Grand Hotel, rewarding the best projects selected by a jury chaired by Méka Brunel, CEO of Gecina.
Those on hand for the week of activities include former French president Nicolas Sarkozy, opening the MIPIM Urban Forum, the co-founder of Apple and philanthropist Steve Wozniak, protagonist of the encounter on 15 September at 17.15, and Gilles Babinet, the visionary French entrepreneur and CEO of Laitao, who will talk about the digital revolution, technology and sustainability in relation to real estate.
Many other influential speakers who are outlining a more sustainable future for the sector and urban livability will be featured, such as Helène Chartier, Head of Zero Carbon Development C40 Cities, the network of giant worldwide cities committed to coping with climate change, to share knowledge and guide meaningful, measurable and sustainable actions.
