What do an Italian company known for pure high-quality porcelain and a Frenchwoman with a passion for set design, developed after studying economics and political science, have in common? Undoubtedly the love of beauty. That impulse that elevates, aiming at more ambitious goals. And, indubitably, a sense of delicacy. Then comes that amalgam of know-how, work and people, leading to creation.
These are the factors that have brought together Richard Ginori, a true icon of Made in Italy that is part of the Kering Group since 2013, and Constance Guisset, a designer who worked with the Bouroullec brothers and has gone on to win many prizes and honors.

The result is Éther, a poetic model and splendid collection of tableware, masterfully crafted to bring lightness and balance to even the smallest gestures associated with dining. The texture created by Constance Guisset is shaded from black to blue, a light, rarified nebula that gives depth to the plate to welcome various gourmet creations.
Rigorously crafted by hand in irregular forms, the decoration resembling blown ashes alternates empty and full zones to generate versatile combinations, with pieces overturned, stacked or joined to each other, adapting to multiple functions and styles of serving. A nuance that is easy to match with all tones, developed on soft, elegant, intentionally dreamy forms, suggesting a world in which to get lost.

“Creating Éther for Richard Ginori was like designing a set for a ballet – the designer says. – Éther is the set I have imagined for the pieces of the Aria collection. The movement of the graphics seems to evaporate in an interplay of lights and shadows, making the plates into a frame in which the chef can play.”
The ‘game’ of Constance rotates around the Aria collection, made in collaboration between the Florentine maison and ALMA, the International School of Italian Cuisine: a combination of movement, lightness and innovation. Éther is misty and mysterious, but also high-tech because it is made in Hyper*P, a new porcelain formula developed in the Richard Ginori laboratories in over 2 years of research, as a high-performance material that stands up to impact – ideal for restaurants – while conserving all of its excellent characteristics.

“The choice of working with Constance Guisset has been a strategic one. In stylistic terms, we are developing collections and products based on specific collaborations with designers highly acclaimed on an international level, alongside items created by our own in-house creative team. We are convinced that collaborations such as this one with Constance Guisset can help us to add further elements of novelty and appeal to the artistic legacy of Richard Ginori. Furthermore, the Éther collection permits us to expand our presence in France, one of our key markets,” says Alain Prost, Chairman and CEO of Richard Ginori.

A masterpiece of elegance for those seeking a unique experience, on the table and in the presentation of food, that combines functional and aesthetic qualities.
