Dual achievement for Henge

Two new showrooms, in Johannesburg and Munich, restart the brand’s foreign expansion

With the end of the lockdown, Henge restarts its project of international growth, opening two new showrooms in Johannesburg and Munich

The Johannesburg store – the brand’s first in South Africa – is in partnership with Il Lusso, a reference point for design in the city. The space of 128 square meters presents the most representative products of the 2019 collection and bestsellers (like the Tangram bookcase, the Polygonal Light Ring lamps and the S-Penny dining table); in the main window, the focus is on the impressive Bistro-S bookcase and the RF sofas and seating, by Massimo Castagna, art director of Henge.

Then a change of continent, but with the same style and refinement. The new space in Munich, at Egetemeier Wohnkultur, has an elegant, relaxed atmosphere. The brand’s philosophy emerges in a contemporary setting featuring a range of different Henge furnishings, from leading icons to recent creations. From a large composition of the RF seating system, with woven backs in slate-color leather, to the Vertigo chaise longue in sand-tone nabuk, designed by Massimo Castagna. The space also presents the Mushroom coffee tables, in cast brass, designed by Yabu Pushelberg, along with lighting elements like the Abaco wall lamp and a suspended composition of Polygonal Light Rings.
