In the Evoteq offices, the free compositions of Lapalma

Studio ROAR, a brand of Pallavi Dean Interiors, relies on the flexibility and design quality of the Lapalma collections for the offices of Evoteq, in the center of Dubai

Flexibility, sharing, dynamism, concentration and privacy, together (of course) with wellbeing and environmental sustainability, are the main concepts behind efficient, stimulating workspaces. Design paradigms that have been totally absorbed and deployed in the enormous area that contains the offices of Evoteq, a company specialized in digital and technological solutions. The facility is an open-plan area of over 3000 square meters, a flexible light office that can easily be reorganized, created by ROAR Design, in which the supply of furnishings by Lapalma takes on the guise of a true creative partnership.

The project picks up on the language of computers – the company’s core business – and specifically the binary code of 0-1, where the one is interpreted and associated with angular forms, while the zero is expressed in circular configurations. The result is a series of communicating workspaces: a ‘social media’ zone and a more operative area with two lounges for moments of brainstorming or informal encounters, where the AUKI swivel chairs by Hee Welling bring a note of color, covered in red Kvadrat fabric, and the SCREEN designed by Francesco Rota can be used to create more private corners.

With an exclusive view of the Burj Khalifa, but democratic and conceived with a circular logic, the boardroom relies on an authoritative contemporary image thanks to twelve ‘systemic’ UNO chairs designed by Rota. Here they are placed around the table with the high back in the executive version, while in other zones of the office they are used in the guest version.

Finally, a shared work zone next to the window contains three lively CUT chairs, in an elegant combination that pairs a black coated aluminium structure with a shell in Baydur® with Kvadrat fabric covering.
