Soria Moria is part of Tales of the Waterway, a project to foster the intrinsic qualities of the regional park of the Telemark canal, which in this case has been developed at the Sigurdsevja inlet on Lake Bandak.
The complex includes a sauna, with a dressing room and windows, and a walkway partially on piles to permit swimming in the lake, along with another zigzag route leading to the existing network of trails. The profile and the materials reference the steep mountains and local construction techniques, also seen in the cladding that alternates wooden shingles with the folky touches of gilded boards.
