Ravelli and Ludovica+Roberto Palomba, together for the first time

The collaboration between the brand specialized in stoves, fireplaces and heaters and the studio Palomba Serafini Associati has led to Square, HRV 160 Design and HRV Silhouette

From water to fire. The studio founded in 1994, Palomba Serafini Associati, after working with companies connected to the world of water like Laufen, Zucchetti. Kos and Ideal Standard, has been chosen by Ravelli, the manufacturer of stoves, fireplaces and heaters that run on renewable sources like pellets and wood, for the creation of the new 2020 collection.

Square, HRV 160 Design, HRV Silhouette: the products designed by Ludovica+Roberto Palomba have sober, minimal lines, reminders of typical family atmospheres by a fireplace with burning logs. “The key point is the aesthetic philosophy, outlined without rigidity in geometric forms that spring from contemporary inspiration – the designers say. – An aesthetic definition that shapes the character of three stoves, making them first of all functional objects, but also true decor elements.”

A square footprint in steel with a glass front for Square and glass cladding for HRV 160 Design. Created for compact spaces, HRV Silhouette has an upper vent for fumes, a hermetic structure and design made of slim proportions, making room for forma and character.

Ravelli and Ludovica+Roberto Palomba at Progetto Fuoco

The new stoves were seen at Progetto Fuoco, the fair on the heating sector, in a booth that was also designed by Ludovica+Roberto Palomba. The Milanese duo narrated the concept of intelligent fire in a space of 880 m2, also presenting two other new items: Magnus, the first monoblock by Ravelli, and Flexi, the collection of intelligent stoves that combine different technologies.

The range of wood-burning products includes the new offerings based on the process of merger and synergy with Jøtul Group. In 2018 OpenGate Capital completed its acquisition of Ravelli, as part of an important operation that several months previously also involved this Norwegian brand.
