The year 2020 starts with two important new developments for Cambria. The brand founded in Minnesota specializing in the production of quartz surfaces – especially kitchen worktops – has opened a new showroom in Verona, in partnership with Serugeri, the exclusive dealer of Cambria products in Italy. This step constitutes an official entry on the Italian market.
Until a few years ago the brand’s sales network existed only in the United States, precisely in the “great white north.” Today the firm operates in 23 nations around the world. The latest one is Italy: “I’m Italian, and I wanted to bring Cambria here,” says Rodolfo Panisi, President and CEO of the international division.
The catalogue now contains 180 different motifs and a wide range of colors. The starting point is always the same: quartz. An element found in nature with average purity of 40-60%, though in Cambria’s worktops the percentage reaches 93%, for great strength and durability. The raw material comes from a proprietary quarry in Canada.
The headquarters is on the border between Minnesota and Canada, with an area of 100,000 square meters for 600 employees. The Cambria philosophy revolves around concepts of quality, research and innovation, service and education of consumers. The latter factor translates into ongoing assistance, also after sales, though Cambria does not operate in terms of direct distribution.
The company is in step with the times when it comes to the digital universe. The website is constantly updated, while the app permits modification of products through an augmented reality system. The Cambria Academy offers training opportunities for dealers and craftsmen.
Serugeri has over 50 years of experience in the marketing of wood and other design materials. It will supervise the Italian sales network and stock, thanks to an automated warehouse equipped with technology 4.0.
