Quagliotti revives the art of weaving

At Maison&Objet, the company presents its new bed linen collections, in a blaze of geometries and decorations that enhance workmanship, materials and aesthetics

Geometric designs and precious jacquard gems enhance the linen sets presented by Quagliotti. Beauty and poetry come to the front in the details produced on fabrics meticulously woven on jacquard looms.

Alley, Bisanzio, Vittoria and Cristina are some of the names of the sets being presented at Maison&Objet Paris. The lustrous appeal of Quagliotti fabrics are enhanced by the use of precious double twisted satin threads and a palette of delicate
shades – white, pearl grey, sand – and more intense colours such as Slate Rose and Blue.

Jacquard weaves and lace trims add a personal touch to the 2020 collection of table linens:
table cloths, napkins, placemats and runners. The fabrics of Costanza and Claire highlight the sheen of the yarn and the originality of the designs.

Sartorial models also characterize the bathroom linen collection: bathrobes are cut and sewn by hand with the same tailoring approach applied to overcoats. Cotton towels are trimmed in Raso, jacquard and linen in contrasting colors or refined ton-sur-ton shades.
Skilled craftsmanship, a meticulous selection of materials, research, a sartorial execution and passion are the keywords that characterise Quagliotti and express the commitment of a company that has been active in the sector for 87 years.
