FOR PORADA, FRANCE MEANS DESIGN – THE COMPANY HAS DEVELOPED SYNERGIC COLLABORATIONS HERE WITH ARCHITECTS, INTERIOR DESIGNERS AND DECORATORS. A RELATIONSHIP THAT TRANSLATES INTO RESIDENTIAL AND HOSPITALITY PROJECTS ACROSS THE FRENCH TERRITORY – FIRST OF ALL IN PARIS AND THE RIVIERA – AND BEYOND.

“We have a distribution network in this country, but our operations are above all in the contract sector, for residences, hotels and restaurants – says Sara Allievi, Marketing Manager of Porada. – It is no coincidence that France is one of the five leading markets of reference on a European level.”

The company’s aesthetic, with its refined, minimal decorative approach, its warm and absolutely natural materials, makes its products meet with the tastes of the French, blending perfectly into the atmosphere of boutique hotels and high-level interior design projects. The myriad of complements, seating and upholstered furnishings generates a constellation of comfort and functional quality that is a remarkable resource for designers.

The Le Tsuba Hotel in Paris is a recent example of hospitality with the Porada signature, reflecting the company’s affinities with 4 and 5-star facilities. It has been followed by the projects for the Hotel Rochester in Paris, designed by the architect Laurent Moreau – where the company has supplied seating for the restaurant and the cocktail bar – and the Hotel Coeur de Megève (by the architect Sybille de Margerie): tables, desks, chairs and settees enhance the suites and communal areas of this contemporary chalet in the heart of Haute-Savoie.

The potential of the French market for Porada is even more extensive: “Thanks to our on-site agency and many architects in Paris, we have completed many contract and residential projects in Africa – Sara Allievi continues. – We recently concluded the decor of a private villa in South Africa designed by an architect based in Paris. We make these contacts during the Maison&Objet fair, where we have exhibited products for over 10 years.” The event in Paris is not just a showcase for the Porada collections, but also a platform for contact with the world of national and international design. So the presence at this year’s edition is a must, offering renewed visibility for the 2019 collections in continuity with the debut in Milan during the latest Salone del Mobile, and the presentation on the German market at the very recent imm cologne.

Inside the living room setting, where the protagonists are the Argo and Kirk sofas, the Aria bookcase, the Pilar tables, and the bedroom setting, dominated by the Ziggy Bed Baldacchino, particular care has gone into the decorating and the objects: mirrors, carpets, lamps and vases enhance the tableaux, along with the discreet use of marble (as in the Thayl table) and new finishes (hemp and coffee tones) that play a leading role to create dynamism and variety, alternating with the canaletta walnut that is part of the company’s DNA.
