Molteni&C|Dada opens the doors to its new Flagship Store in Dubai, in partnership
with Vivente Luxury Living, leading designers of prestigious home furnishings and
a benchmark for design, taking a significant step towards qualifying its distribution
network in the Emirates strategic market.
The new Flagship’s prestigious location has international visibility in the heart of
Dubai, with a total surface area of almost 500 square meters. It is located in one of
the most sought-after locations on Jumeirah beach road, a prime and busting area,
with numerous villas dedicated to furniture, right by one of the world’s most touristic
landmark, the iconic Burj Al Arab.
The new space develops at street level and its design is evocative of an Italian villa
with wide glass windows, played out over two floors and symbolizes a life marked by
Italian flair with the intimacy of a private home.
Sophisticated materials, the natural colours of the travertine marble and the black
oak alternated with various shades of warm and bone greys give a strong character
to each individual space.
The store is gracious and fluid, providing guests with the opportunity to experience a
sequence of evocative settings.
Inside it showcases a global choice of furniture from the Molteni&C|Dada. The whole
interior design range is represented to enable visitors to satisfy whatever home interior
requirements they may have, from kitchens to dining rooms, living rooms to bedrooms
and plenty of premium interior accessories – each carefully styled showcasing the
wide array of products.
Its open architectural plan serves as a perfect backdrop for the latest Molteni&C|Dada
offerings. Collections include designs by Vincent Van Duysen, Rodolfo Dordoni, Ron
Gilad, Foster+Partners, Jean Nouvel and Patricia Urquiola, among others.
The ground floor features Molteni Group’s icon pieces, effectively showcased in
each setting. Highlights include the dynamic Albert seating system, the elegant VVD
kitchen, the sleek and modern InDada kitchen, and the prestigious Armani/Dada
Bridge kitchen. A sophisticated living area furnished with a Lucas sofas and a dining
area with an elegant Diamond table immediately follow.
The first floor is accessed by staircases and features on the right side a dining
area with a Mayfair table and a lounge space completed with a timeless Paul Sofa
facing a nighttime area with a sequence of sophisticated Gliss Master wardrobes, a
Ribbon bed and the generous Master Dressing system, Molteni&C’s exclusive walk-in
wardrobe design.
On the opposite side a large position is reserved to a wide living area furnished with
a generous classic Turner sofa that opens on an elegant Prime kitchen facing a dining
area with a central Arc table.
On both floors, the bookshelf system 505 and the modular system Grid are showcased,
satisfying the criterion of infinite modularity.
The Flagship dedicates a wide space also to the iconic pieces designed by Gio Ponti,
such as the armchairs D.154.2 and D.151.4, as well as the small table D.555.1, part of
the Molteni&C Heritage Collection.
The result is a single hub of Italian design excellence.
