FederlegnoArredo Eventi’s American B2B lives up to expectations

The three days in Palm Springs, California, where FederlegnoArredo Eventi organised the second stop of its Italian Design Forum, have come to a close

In the best location that the area has to offer – the elegant, evocative, and colourful Parker Palm Springs – 20 Italian companies met with 35 American designers from Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami, and Mexico City and the results, according to many participants, were significant: the qualitative impact of Made in Italy, its ability to go beyond the label and the brand, and its manufacturing expertise met with the enormous interest of the interior design and architectural studios invited.

When designers abandon their studios for three days (or more, given that 13 came from Central America and Mexico) it means that they are expecting opportunities that provide an alternative to those which they already have, flexibility, the ability to receive answers to specific questions, and transparency in the manufacturing potential.

The 20 Italian companies participating in the event were able to provide all of this. Architects are increasingly intrigued by Made in Italy products, which range from well-known brands that are solidly established in the sector (like Poliform, Wall&Decò, Atmosphera, and Penta, to name just a few), to singular outstanding entities from the Italian manufacturing industry which are able to meet the tastes and, above all, demands of professionals involved in the design of multi-million dollar homes and luxury hotels.

The Italian Design Forum, confirming the positive outcome seen in June in Shenzhen, demonstrated itself to be a successful model upon which to build an important operational calendar. FederlegnoArredo Eventi has proven its reliability and passed this challenging test with flying colours.
