A new Decorex International

The event unlinks from the London Design Festival and takes place from 6 to 9 October, for the first time at the Olympia in London

A revolution at Decorex International. The fair in its forties on high-end and handmade design leaves Syon Park, and from Sunday 6 to Wednesday 9 October heads for the Olympia in London, thus stepping out of the program of the London Design Festival.

According to estimates, the event will attract 14,000 people, visitors, journalists and sector professionals eager to see the new collections of over 400 exhibiting companies. A heterogeneous group composed of successful brands and young up-and-coming realities, from the United Kingdom and the rest of the world. Manufacturers of printed fabrics will alternate with those of furnishings made to measure, lighting and handpainted wallpapers.

The program also includes a series of talks with designers, and interesting seminars on new trends and timely topics. The striking installations represent a strong point of the organization. In the foreground, the set-up that guides visitors on a journey through a series of interconnected spaces: each area will be created by a selection of the finest international interior designers, and supervised by leading UK-based architects. There are many new developments for 2019, in an edition that in any case retains its continuity with the past. The connections happen at Foundation, the platform on the new generations of designer-makers, and Future Heritage, the exhibition of emerging names in the United Kingdom, who will create specific projects for the occasion.
