Decorex International relocates

The event previously connected with the London Design Festival makes its debut this year from 6 to 9 October at the Olympia in London

New home, new date for Decorex International. The event previously held at Syon Park in September, in coordination with the London Design Festival, makes its debut this year from Sunday 6 to Wednesday 9 October at the Olympia in London.

A new cycle begins for an initiative that for over forty years has been a fixed appointment for all those interested in new developments in premium and handmade design, also thanks to talks with designers and impressive installations.

Among the new adventures already announced for 2019, there is the exhibit design, which will lead visitors on a voyage through a series of interconnected spaces: the areas will be created by a selection of the finest international designers, supervised by leading architects based in the United Kingdom.
This is a new era for Decorex, but in continuity with the past: the show will continue go cultivate new talents with Foundation, the platform for the new generations of designer-makers, while paying tribute to British luxury design and applied arts with Future Heritage, the exhibition of emerging names in the UK who will create special projects for the event.

There will also be experiential areas where producers will hold live workshops, together with seminars with experts in the sector.
Visitors will have a chance to discover new collections and to commission custom pieces from over 400 outstanding brands and young producers.
The wide range of choices includes hand-painted wallpapers, furniture made to measure, lighting and printed fabrics. Already confirmed exhibitors include Arte, Beaumont&Fletcher, Officine Gullo, Rose Uniacke and The Rug Company.
