WantedDesign Brooklyn at Industry City, presented by the co-founders Odile Hainaut and Claire Pijoulat, Michael Philipps, president of Jamestown, and the award-winning designer Humberto Campana as special guest, opened on 15 May with events, conferences and live performances.

Humberto Campana

The theme of this edition is “Conscious Design”: “Humberto Campana is the guest of honor for the IC Design Festival of WantedDesign: there could be no better representative of a humanistic approach to design, based on awareness, empathy and generosity, than this remarkable creative talent,” say Odile Hainaut and Claire Pijoulat.

Design transforms – presented by Campana Institute + Central Saint Martins – is an open factory guided by Humberto Campana to co-create, in a unique experience, a series of objects and a permanent installation at Industry City. A special collaboration that celebrates not only 35 years of activity of the Campana Brothers, but also the 10th anniversary of Campana Institute, an emblem of design conceived as a vehicle of social transformation.
