“Zanaboni_Edizioni was developed from the need to merge and reinterpret classic and modern styles with an innovative approach that does not neglect history and memory from another perspective, in a world that changes so that it may propose a new art of living through furniture and décor, in which design, style, material, new methods of craftsmanship, and tailoring adhere to new aesthetic codes.”
Massimo Zanaboni, the company’s Export Manager, used these words to explain the concept which Zanaboni_Edizioni intends to convey. The collection debuted at the recently concluded Salone del Mobile.Milano.
The distinguishing characteristic of the new products is the use of natural elements and plant fibres, like rattan and wicker, which are woven into precious textures and used for chairs and other pieces furniture with a strong expressive impact.
The world of design is one that is constantly evolving, and in order to keep up with the times and with the latest trends, in response to clients’ demands, companies must continue to engage in research and experimentation. Environments transform and one must be courageous: “In recent years,” explains Massimo Zanaboni, “the concept of ‘home’ has undergone a total metamorphosis, dictated by new lifestyles and by young men and women who animate the international network at breakneck speed. The new ‘must’ being demanded is flexibility, something which Zanaboni_Edizioni provides with original, customisable, innovative, and surprising models.”
Among Zanaboni_Edizioni’s products, the Discovery armchair and three-seat sofa stand out, characterised by enormous versatility which makes it possible to insert them perfectly in both indoor and outdoor environments. The structure is built from natural manao wood, from which a weave of helicoidal technical fibres branches off, supported by a bronzed metal base.
The Enjoy chaise lounge also has a contemporary shape. American chestnut wood plays a fundamental role, along with the thick mesh obtained from a weave of chocolate coloured technical straps.
And let’s not forget the Sunrise coffee table with its various materials: metal and a wicker weave that wrap around each other and overlap, blending together harmoniously.
On occasion of Milano Design Week, Zanaboni reopened its showroom on Via Fatebenefratelli. The space underwent a restyling and presented itself at the trade show with a sophisticated new look that exudes art.
In fact, various works of art appear alongside the brand’s products, which include sculptural seating and tables in bronzed brass.
