Richard Ginori participates in the 58th edition of the Salone del Mobile.Milano with a high impact display space, compellingly introduced by an immense kaleidoscope in which the decorations of Manifattura come to life. An experiential journey made even more captivating by the unique background music created specifically for the collection by Valentin Huedo, internationally recognised DJ and music producer from Ibiza.
Il viaggio di Nettuno is Richard Ginori’s new collection, created in collaboration with multi-faceted London-based artist Luke Edward Hall. The creative concept draws inspiration from the designer’s interest in Greek-Roman mythology. The collection, made up of intensely colourful dishes, placeholders, cups, and vases, is a modern reinterpretation of tableware. Elements of art de la table transform into true works of art.
Different in both style and colour is the customisable collection Corona Monogram. Here initials are the focus of a décor that personalises the white porcelain of bread plates, dessert plates, pasta plates, flat plates, placeholders, and mugs. The diversity of the creations is a testament to the designer’s extreme versatility and extraordinary ability to acknowledge the trends in the sector and to translate them into objects that stand out.
Art and tradition are both expressed in Richard Ginori’s capsule collection Giardino dell’Iris made up of entirely hand painted centrepieces and vases; a tribute to the fleeting beauty of flowers through powerful purple and yellow shades.
Modern elegance finds its natural expression in the Cucù collection dedicated to childhood and Charm collection dedicated to Christmas.
Also at the Salone, Richard Ginori presents, for the first time, a new symbol for the Totem collection: the mouse, an animal that is well-loved in Eastern culture and the first sign of the Chinese zodiac. The new symbol, an intermediary between the spiritual and material worlds, acts as a preview of the Totem collection which will be unveiled in January 2020.
Eastern features combined with a Western style characterise Florentia, the new collection of tableware created by Japanese designer Akira Minagawa.
