In the heart of Manhattan’s design district, in the exclusive and lively NoMad neighbourhood – an elegant area full of showrooms of international brands like Moooi and B&B Italia, luxury hotels, sophisticated restaurants, and high-end boutiques – Fiandre opens its first New York location and its fifth space in the United States after Chicago, Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Francisco.
Federica Minozzi (CEO of Iris Ceramica Group) was present at the opening: “We are excited to broaden our presence in New York, in the heart of the design district, investing in our brand’s image and creating an architectural environment open to the inspiration of design. This is an important milestone in our company’s strategic expansion within the United States.” Fiandre, a world leader in the production of high-end and high-tech architectural surfaces, known for its wide range of models and colours and for its great attention to environmental sustainability (a theme which has been integral to the company’s philosophy since its very foundation), unveiled its elegant 400 square meter space at 36 East 31st St (suite 202).
Inside the showroom matter engages in fluid dialogue with the sophistication of the open space, divided into residential and commercial arrangements that are inspired by classical, minimalist, and modern styles. Among the architectural surfaces that can be installed both indoors and outdoors, a truly revolutionary product stands out: the innovative Design Your Slab, a tailor made service for printing any kind of image on over-sized ceramic slabs using inkjet technology.
An avant garde process that transforms surfaces into artists’ canvases on which one can apply illustrations and unimaginable plays of colour, or incorporate metallic elements in gold, silver, or bronze. Also debuting for the first time in New York are the colour variations available in the Maximum Marmi Collection alongside the nuances of the Group’s other brands: Iris Ceramica, Living, Diesel, Ariostea, and Sapienstone, in a continuity of design between floors, walls, and custom furniture that creates an extraordinary “total look”.
