Luti and Bordone, new members of the Triennale’s Board of Directors

Albetto Bonisoli, Minister of Cultural Heritage and Activities, has appointed the President of the Salone del Mobile.Milano and the Deputy Chairman of Federlegno Arredo Eventi to the Board of Directors

Two new members have joined the Board of Directors of the Triennale di Milano. Stefano Bordone, Depty Chairman of Federlegno Arredo Eventi, and Claudio Luti, President of the Salone del Mobile.Milano, were appointed to the board of this international cultural institution by Alberto Bonisoli, Minister of Cultural Heritage and Activities. Already on the board are institutions like the Lombardy Region, the City of Milan, and the Chamber of Commerce.

“For the Triennale di Milano,” stated President Stefano Boeri, “it is of fundamental importance to develop a structured and ongoing conversation with the worlds of industry and Italian creativity. We are therefore happy that Stefano Bordone and Claudio Luti have now joined the Triennale di Milano’s Board of Directors. Their presence, which is highly representative of the world of Italian furniture design and of the creative system of Italian companies, will help us to develop the Design Museum that is to be inaugurated next April and turn the Triennale into a global epicentre of creativity and applied arts.”

The Triennale di Milano is housed within the Palazzo dell’Arte and organises exhibits, conferences, and events pertaining to art, design, architecture, fashion, film, communications, and society. Emanuele Orsini had this to say about the recent appointments: “Stefano Bordone’s and Claudio Luti’s appointments to the Triennale’s Board of Directors, in the company of institutions like the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities, the Ministry of Tourism, the Lombardy Region, the City of Milan, and the Chamber of Commerce, is in keeping with the effort to create synergy between the industrial and creative forces of the Italian system.”
