Vismara-Samsung, a journey through luxury

“Luxury LED for Home” was recently presented in Milan’s Samsung District, the project characterised by the artisan craftsmanship of Seveso’s company in collaboration with Samsung and which combines the concepts of Home Cinema & Luxury Living

Vismara and Samsung do things big, not only in terms of the organisation of the project’s presentation, an event which saw the participation of prominent individuals from the luxury sector (like Sergio Buttiglieri, Director of Interior Design for Sanlorenzo, which has announced a collaboration with Patricia Urquiola), but also in terms of the dimensions of Luxury LED for Home: available in FHD format measuring 109 and 130 inches and in UHD measuring 219 and 260 inches.

An odd couple: Vismara and Samsung, two worlds that are oceans apart, but which pursue excellence along seemingly separate roads and have now joined forces to create a unique project that combines the concepts of Home Cinema & Luxury Living.

Ambra Vismara, Sales Manager for Vismara, explains how the two companies came together: “On one side Vismara’s artisan craftsmanship, and on the other side Samsung’s technology; the fusion of two worlds that brought to life a ‘total product’, one that transforms into a luxury service, combining the concepts of Home Cinema & Luxury Living.”

A movie theatre conceived for the domestic environment is an innovative project, thanks also to the use of the Dolby Atmos sound system from Steinway Lyngdorf. This is a surround sound system of the latest generation characterised by the positioning of the speakers within a three-dimensional space, and therefore also on the ceiling.
Vismara and Samsung thus set the objective to achieve an extraordinarily high level of personalisation and quality: “Samsung’s latest generation of LED screens provide unsurpassed definition and intensity of colour. Vismara’s furniture, or rather reclining armchairs, the acoustic panelling, and a wide selection of accessories, complete the space both aesthetically and stylistically,” states the Sales Manager. “The ’tailor made’ aspect is a characteristic that Samsung’s LED screens, the surround sound, and the Vismara furnishings all have in common.”

The partnership between the two companies makes it possible to explore new scenarios: “Working closely together creates synergies not only in terms of the products for sale, but also in terms of ideas and new challenges. The collaboration between Vismara and Samsung Italia will allow both brands to explore new markets.”

Pino Vismara, designer and owner of this luxury brand, was also present at the event, and told his company’s story, from its failures to its visionary intuition: “The experience that Vismara brings with it is rich in achievements, struggles, and failures, which year after year allow it push past its own limits, recognise its mistakes, and get itself back on course.” Ambra Vismara explains: “There has always been a pinch of craziness in this company, and it is this very spirit of adventure that led the brand to aim for and focus on an industry as unique as that of luxury entertainment. As far as the future goes, experience has taught us not to fixate on overly specific objectives, but rather to push beyond the limits, and that sometimes it is a chance or unexpected encounter that ends up changing the course of history.”
