The Flavour of Nahoor

Nahoor, a company that specialises in lighting solutions, takes its first steps in Dubai Design Week, bringing with it five products: Mahari, Margot, Ecliss, K&W, and Chilum

Dubai Design Week, and more specifically the city, is experiencing a period of enormous growth and registers progressively higher numbers each year. But that’s not all. The exposition attracts the interest of experts from the sector, press, and simple visitors. Nahoor knows this and has decided to participate in the event.

William Pianta, founder and art director of Nahoor, explains the motivations that convinced this Brescia-based company to participate: “Dubai Design Week is an important moment for Nahoor, which is just now starting to explore this new market and its many opportunities. It’s an important moment for a constructive analysis of the tastes and needs of new clients who are increasingly drawn to a contemporary style and who appreciate the careful selection of materials and finishes which are the product of the know-how of our Italian artisan craftsmen.”

As it did for Maison&Objet, Nahoor is bringing five products with it, this time Mahari, Margot, Ecliss, K&W, and Chilum.
Mahari is available in three variations: as a floor lamp in either polished brass or nabuck and as a table lamp in polished copper. Margot can be viewed in its table version in polished copper and floor version in polished chrome. Meanwhile Ecliss comes in two table lamp variations, with the 450 and the 650. Lastly, K&W and Chilum are available in polished brass.

Five products for indoor spaces with a formal and minimal approach, enhanced by a skilful use of sophisticated materials and finishes, which fully reflect Nahoor’s style. The company draws inspiration from Italian artisan tradition, enriching it with new technology and then reinterpreting it according to its idea of “making light”. A response, therefore, to the new and constantly changing demands of Dubai.
