Porada’s confirmation

Export Manager Mauro Nastri describes relations with Russia and developments on the market. A bond confirmed by its presence at Salone del Mobile.Milan Moscow

Attention to and appreciation of Made in Italy has never waned in Russia. This is also thanks to Porada and its skill in fulfilling Russian market requirements, without undermining its own identity and style. Export Manager Mauro Nastri is in charge of developing relations with Russia and he explains how this bond has evolved and changed: “We have achieved retailer loyalty by building a relationship grounded in reciprocal trust”.

Since 2008 to present day, IFDM has always taken part in Salone del Mobile.Milan Moscow, the tastes and requests of Russian clients have changed: “The Russian market has increasingly opened up towards contemporary design, attracted by more modern lines which are still linked to the tradition and use of wood”, Mr. Nastri explains, before disclosing the company’s strategy for trade and the project world: “In terms of distribution, we have focused demand on a select few resellers, which has made it possible for us to meet their requests. Relations with architecture firms have also enabled us to complete important projects in the country”.

Porada‘s fondness for Russia is palpable, indeed it has participated in the Salone del Mobile.Milan Moscow for some years now, as an exhibitor. Featured flagship products include: the armchair Vera, oval coffee table Quay and the seating system Argo.
Vera features a solid black walnut structure, Cuoietto leather back and removable covers made from the collection’s range of fabrics. A combination of different fabrics can be used for seat and back cushions.

Quay is an oval coffee table featuring a solid black walnut base and brushed brass tips,  matched with a marble top.
Lastly, Argo is the modular system with a solid black walnut base and brushed brass tips. Seats lean against an elastic high thickness plywood panel, with bores for improved ventilation, further enhanced by the technical velveteen cover. Seats are upholstered with high resistance different density expanded polyurethane, with upper part in Memory Foam and cover in wadding blended with cotton and velveteen.
