Founded in 2009, Nahoor draws inspiration and develops its identity from the very definition of its name: “Nahoor” derives from Aramaic and means “source of light”. Style and products are immediately recognizable by its pure and essential lines that enhance the raw materials. The Lombardia-based company is inspired by the Italian artisanal traditions, adding to it with new technologies and reinterpreting it according to its idea of “light making”.

William Pianta, founder and Art Director of the Brescia-based company, explains the use of metals in his projects: “Nahoor’s experience in metalworking (with copper and others) enhance the individual peculiarities of every piece that acquire even more value when combined with wood, glass and marble.” The metals used are polished chrome, burnished brass and copper; the preferred fabrics are linen, silk and cotton, while woods vary from oak, teak, wenge to ebony.
