Chairs & More sides with the UN

The Library Events Room in the United Nations headquarters (Geneva) is known for Henrik Sorensen’s large painting behind the dais, which dominates the space, and for countless bookcases located along the walls. Now, however, the approximately 200 Babah chairs by Chairs & More take pride of place in the room of 300 square meters within the UN Swiss building. A collaboration that affirms the international approach undertaken by the company.

The prestigious restyling project was carried out by architect Federica Perrini, who furnished the space with seats designed by Roberto Paoli, selected in the total white version, thus helping to illuminate the audience. The backrest of these pieces is made of printed polyurethane, a material that gives the illusion that the body is padded. Moreover, Babah seats are equipped with a safety metal hooking system that guarantees stability and order to the seats within the room.
