It comes as no surprise that the first Roberto Cavalli Home brand residential interior design project is called I love Florence. Nor is it a surprise that the brand has chosen Dubai as the scene for its international début, in partnership with Dar Al Arkan, a semi-public company specialised in real estate based in Riyadh and listed on the Saudi stock exchange.
The project for the I love Florence Tower, which will be completed by the firms Dubai VX and La Casa Engineering Consultants, was announced in December 2017. Gian Giacomo Ferraris, Chief Executive Officer at Roberto Cavalli, underlines how he sees “a close correlation between Florence and Dubai, two cities which in their own way thrive on elegance, art and design. The new tower will bring Roberto Cavalli’s passion for beauty to Dubai, and will be a tribute to Italian artisan craftsmanship. The 38 storey tower will contain units of various sizes, from the 40 sqm studio flat to apartments with 1,2,3 and 4 bedrooms, all with balconies and terraces, some with direct access via a private lift. The project also includes a gym, swimming pool, private parking and two Roberto Cavalli retail spaces.
The new architectonic project is located in a truly strategic location on the Downtown Dubai skyline, nestled in the Business Bay, with views of the crystal clear waters of Dubai Canal, close to financial as well as more frequented parts of the city. According to the program, works began in January 2018, with excavation and the laying of foundations, whereas completion has been scheduled for the second quarter of 2021.
