The leading furniture industry event in Ukraine is growing. Interior Mebel returns with an edition featuring new exhibitors and content

New products, new players and new experiences. The 2018 edition of Interior Mebel promises an abundance of new products and exciting insights, bringing together an outstanding selection of local and international interior design brands. The event’s liveliness is mirrored in the market itself, which is showing the first signs of recovery: with a growing number of exhibitors and a larger exhibition area (46% larger than last year), Interior Mebel is proving to be the driving force behind the industry in Ukraine. Among the most innovative elements of this seventh edition – staged from 7 to 10 February at the International Exhibition Center – is the restyling of the new section devoted to bathroom furniture, ceramics, marble and coatings, which combines products from the furniture, lighting and interior design industries. The trade fair includes the following companies: FMG Fabbrica Marmi e GranitiMarazziBliss Ceramica and Cotto D’este in the ‘ceramics’ sector; Inda and Jacuzzi in the ‘bathroom fixtures’ segment, along with Cristina RubinetterieFantiniNew Form in the ‘taps and fittings’ segment. Major interior companies are represented by on-site customers, showrooms such as Grande GroupDomioDominioRim; this selection of companies come together to display design trends with their latest collections and complete living projects.

Products come first and foremost, but there is more to the event. Interior Mebel is not only a showcase, but also a stage for sharing ideas about the interior design world, an opportunity for training and staying up to date. Master classes and conferences are offered to the public and industry professionals, led by designers and architects such as Emmanuel Gallina, who will discuss ‘French Art de Vivre – French touch & Italian know-how for an international lifestyle’Marco Piva, who will talk about his experiences of ‘Designing complexity’ and Claudio Silvestrin, a speaker at the ‘Bridge between humanity and nature’ conference. Not to mention Roberto Lizzi, commercial director of SnaideroMarco Vismara, architect for the D73 firm, Andrea Tosi of IEDIvan YanukovOleg VolosovskyAndrey DmitriyevOlga BodganovaAnastasia Kovaleva and many others.

The event has all the right credentials to surpass last year’s results, when the fair hosted 130 companies, a turnout of 13,000 visitors (higher than the previous edition), including 23% distributors and showrooms and 27.5% designers and architects.
